JUH is in existence since a century; this milestone calls for a grand revelry, and not just an acknowledgement. The JUH museum commemorates the vision, mission & struggles of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind; and also participates in the celebration these 100 years.

Partition Installation

1947, will be remembered as a year when the line drawn between India and Pakistan led to a bloody separation that left lasting scars on both sides of the border. The installation is a symbolic representation of partition that happened in 1947. As we move towards the experience zone, the black and white flags block our path towards separatism, which represents how JUH opposed the partition and fought for undivided India. But in the end, the partition did happen and line did not only divide the country but it ended up dividing the people along the line of religion and hence dividing the dream of a united nation into two separate parts. In the installation, division is articulated by dividing everything into half, explaining the state of the nation after the partition happened.
