SC Bose Museum

The museum on Bose and the Indian National Army showcases various artefacts related to Subhash Chandra Bose and INA. The artefacts include wooden chair and sword used by the leader, medals, badges, uniforms and other artefacts related to the INA. The graphic panels lead you to experience the life Mr. SC Bose led and hence help you understand better about the efforts he made for the country. The highlight of the museum are the interactive touch points and motion graphic videos displayed in most of the halls, which makes the journey of the viewer even more interesting.

The Location

 

The museum has been designed in one of the old barracks situated in Red Fort. The fact that makes this location significant is, that this barrack is the exact place in the Red Fort where the brave soldiers of INA were court-martialed and tried by the british. The trial started on November 5, 1945 and lasted till January 3, 1946. These were the soldiers who deserted the British Indian Army on the patriotic call of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

1857 Museum

The Museum on 1857- India’s first war of Independence portrays the historical narrative of 1857 war of independence, showcasing the valor and sacrifices made by Indians during the period.

The Location

 

The museum has been designed in one of the old barracks situated in Red Fort. The fact that makes this location significant is, that this barrack is the exact place in the Red Fort where the trial of Bahadur Shah Zaffar was held. The barrack holds a very important architectural and historical value to the stories of Revolt of 1857.
