Writer's Perspective
The "Writer's Perspective" is a visual documentation of my childhood writings. I recreated the feelings visually using a palate mix of orange white, grey and black. Orange and white represent the happy memories while grey and back account for the sad ones. The project is a mix of non-face portraits and object photography.

User Mapping

Building The Blueprint
The objective of this project was to design Razorpay's product announcement newsletter to drive higher engagement, reflect the brand's voice, and make product updates something customers wanted to read rather than skip. The project focused on the following steps and phases:

Content Calendar & Cadence
Defining how often FinTalk ships and what goes into each issue, so every send has a clear rhythm readers can rely on.
Format Structure
Building a clear hierarchy- what earns a headline, what's a secondary mention, and what gets left out entirely- so every issue feels curated, not crammed.

Voice & Tone
Defining a consistent personality for FinTalk, so updates sound like a brand readers recognize rather than a generic company memo.
Designing The Issue
This walkthrough covers how research findings and industry best practices came together to define the baseline for FinTalk's redesign — from merchant feedback on structure and content, to proven patterns around personalization, CTAs, and layout drawn from newsletters across the industry. Every design decision that follows was grounded in this baseline, not personal preference.

Setting up design brief

Automating The Process
The objective of this project was to design Razorpay's product announcement newsletter to drive higher engagement, reflect the brand's voice, and make product updates something customers wanted to read rather than skip. The project focused on the following steps and phases:

Built a reusable HubSpot template
Designed once as a modular structure (header, feature blocks, CTA, webinar/finance-fact sections) so each new issue could be assembled by dropping in fresh content rather than designing from scratch
Reduced production time per issue
Turned a full redesign cycle into a repeatable process, cutting the time from brief to send for every subsequent edition

Enabled non-designers to ship
Since the template lived in HubSpot with defined blocks, marketing/content teams could populate and send future issues without needing design bandwidth each time
From another email, to worth the click,
FinTalk went from routine mail merchants skimmed past to a newsletter they
actually opened, read, and acted on."

Business Impact
FinTalk's redesign directly targeted the two levers that mattered most: getting opened and getting clicked. Before the redesign, the newsletter's open rate sat at 26.6% against an industry benchmark of 40%, while CTR lagged even further behind at 0.43% versus an industry average of 4%. The redesign restructured content, personalization, and a clearer format was built to close that gap, with a target of raising CTR to 3% on the active base.
